🇺🇸 YOUNG HEARTS MAKING A DIFFERENCE 🇺🇸

A special thank you to Haley and Hunter, both 11 years old, who spent part of their vacation giving back at our Project New Hope Westfield office!

Our wonderful volunteer Janet brought her grandchildren in to lend a hand, and they jumped right in—sorting fresh produce, restocking shelves, and helping Veterans carry their groceries out to their cars.

At an age when they could have been spending their vacation doing just about anything, Haley and Hunter chose to serve others. Their kindness, hard work, and willingness to help made a real difference today.

It’s inspiring to see young people learning the value of service and showing us that you’re never too young to make a difference.

Thank you, Haley and Hunter! We loved having you with us today. ❤️🇺🇸

🇺🇸 A NEW CHAPTER FOR SULLY’S VETERANS FOOD PANTRY 🇺🇸

Beginning September 2026, Sully’s Veterans Food Pantry is transitioning to an appointment-based, shop-in-pantry experience—giving Veterans the dignity and choice to select the food, personal hygiene products, pet food and household essentials that best meet their needs.

But Sully’s is about much more than food.

Through Project New Hope, Veterans can also connect with case management, holistic & wellness programs, Brain-Based Healing Retreats, social work and mental health resources, nutrition and financial education, employment resources and other support.

🇺🇸 Why this matters: About 1 in 9 working-age Veterans experiences food insecurity. Our goal is not simply to fill a grocery bag—it is to support the whole Veteran and help protect their health, independence and quality of life.

🤝 WE NEED COMMUNITY PARTNERS

Keeping our shelves, refrigerators and freezers stocked takes all of us. Businesses, foundations, organizations and individuals can help through financial support, food donations, food drives and volunteering.

🎥 Take a tour of our new space and see what we’re building for our Veterans.

🇺🇸 A NEW CHAPTER FOR SULLY’S VETERANS FOOD PANTRY 🇺🇸

Today, Saturday, August 22, marks our final curbside pickup at Sully’s Veterans Food Pantry in Worcester.

Beginning September 2026, we’re transitioning to a new appointment-based, shop-in-pantry experience.

Instead of receiving a pre-packed order curbside, Veterans will have a scheduled appointment to come inside Sully’s and shop for the food, personal hygiene products, and household items that best meet their individual needs and preferences.

This change is about more than how we distribute food. It’s about choice, dignity, reducing food waste, and creating a more personal experience for the Veterans we serve.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, staff, donors, and community partners who helped make our curbside program possible — and we’re excited to welcome Veterans inside Sully’s beginning in September.

📞 Veterans can call (774) 243-7859 to schedule their monthly pantry appointment.
