Our Story

Main IDEA is a nonprofit youth and arts organization dedicated to providing quality, accessible arts programs to under-resourced youth in Main South, Worcester. Eight years ago, a group of local artists, community leaders, and Clark students/alumni came together with the dream of pooling their resources in efforts to make the arts more accessible to the youth in their neighborhood. Clark University continues to play a foundational role in the relationship built between the organization and the Main South community.
