💙 A Gift From the Class of 2026 💙

As they prepare to move on to middle school, our 6th graders wanted to leave something special behind for future Flagg Street students.

This year's class gift is an "Advice to Kindergarteners" video, filled with encouragement, memories, and a few laughs from students who were once kindergarteners themselves.

Grace Sliwoski with Regional Environmental Council (REC) came to school Wednesday to provide education and experiential learning with our third graders in our raised garden beds. Together they learned about early spring crops and harvested radishes, spinach, garlic and salad mix. Additionally they planted summer crops and are looking forward to a bountiful harvest in the fall. We are so fortunate to have this connection and can’t wait to watch our garden beds flourish 🫜🌱🫛 🧄🥬🥗🥕🫑

TONIGHT: please join us for our May meeting at 5:30 in the cafe. We will discuss Boosterthon, Field Day, next year’s budget, and VOTE for next years PTG Board.

Calling for new PTG board members; nominations due Tuesday 5/19 at 5pm

As several current Parent Teacher Group officers conclude their terms and will not be seeking reelection, we invite members of the school community to consider becoming involved in PTG leadership for the 2026-2027 school year.

PTG officers can be nominated using the below link. The last day to nominate will be on Tuesday May 19th. Membership in the Flagg Street PTG shall be open to all parents and guardians of children attending Flagg Street School and all educators at Flagg Street School.

We will verify nominations by 5pm on Tuesday May 19th and confirm that those nominated are willing to serve, we will present a slate of board nominees for election at the Wednesday, May 20th Flagg Street School PTG meeting held at 5:30pm in the cafe. We will provide a link so that parents may join virtually. You must be in person to present a vote for officers.
