The Liberian Association of Worcester County (LAOWC) is a non-political, non-profit, and non-tribal organization of Liberians from all walks of life engaged in humanitarian, social, and community development programs. The Association is mainly run by volunteers who work hard to provide our members with a wide range of activities and events, to make the United States a home away from home. Our obje

ctive is to help our members find their feet firmly grounded in a new country, and to help them lead a contented and pleasant life, enriched by new friends, new interests and opportunities by providing extensive productive social and educative programs. As a non-sectarian association, we are profoundly cognizant of the need for cohesiveness, unity and community development, in order to discover resources in making our community a vibrant one; and thus foster our objective and interest we hold in common.
