The Mother of Africa Foundation, based in Massachusetts in the USA, is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) operated by ARO Evans Atta Fordjour and his siblings.

They saw the need to donate some essential items to the Tema Collection's clinic at the Longroom to support the caregiving of officers and clients who may need emergency attention while on duty.

The items included:
1. Disinfecting wipes - 46 cartons
2. Hand sanitiser - 38 cartons
3. All-purpose cleaner (simoniz) - 11 cartons
4. Ultimate Germs disinfectant - 8 cartons
5. Gh10,000

The Sector Commander of the Tema Collection, Assistant Commissioner Theresa Potakey, received the items on behalf of the collection.
In her speech, she thanked ARO Fordjour and his partners abroad for the overwhelming gesture towards the Collection.
She asked for God's blessings on them and promised that all items donated would be put to their intended use.
Present at the clinic to witness the presentation of the items were the welfare chairman and his executives.

Two days ago, we made a similar donation to the Dompim and Simpa community. Tomorrow, we will visit Premier Hospital to present another set of donations.
