Hello West Side Business Network supporters,
A meeting took place last week to discuss with our City Manager, DPW Chief and elected officials the plans regarding the road reconfiguration in Tatnuck Square. Attendees were surprised to learn that the project has been awarded... that's correct, awarded without community feedback... this former MA DOT project is now in the City's hands... I do not know what to suggest when our options seem to have been decided for us.
I suggest that we ALL contact our City Manager, Ed Augustus: [email protected] AND DPW director Paul Moosey: [email protected] AND Councillors: Moe Bergman ([email protected]); Rick Rushton ([email protected]), Gary Rosen ([email protected]) AND Mayor Joe Petty ([email protected])
Ask to see the plan (none presented), ask when (no dates given), what's the purpose... no clear one given!

FAA comes through...

Making a big announcement to Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce members this morning: the FAA has agreed to assume ownership and maintenance of the Category 3 landing system at Worcester Regional Airport once completed. This announcement embodies the longterm commitment of both MassPort and FAA to the future of air service here.

Once completed, Cat 3 will allow for zero visibility landing in inclement weather at ORH.

Please check your email for a "call to action" regarding WSBN!
It would great if we could conspire a time to meet as a group. Looking for a Host site for 20+ people from 5:30pm to 7:30pm... a Monday night was noted as best in the past.
Ideas for dates would be February 24th or March 3rd...
