Guess who made a surprise visit to the rink? Santa himself! He caught up with your team during his rounds, and rumor has it they made a special holiday wish… to play in the 42nd Annual Lakers Tournament, happening February 28–March 1, 2026 in Worcester, MA!
Santa said your players have been really, REALLY good this year, so he asked me to pass along the message and help make their wish come true. 🎅✨

What an AMAZING weekend we had at the 41st Annual Lakers Tournament! Not only did 32 youth hockey teams fully take over Horgan Arena and Buffone Arena for 3 days straight, but we had some really cool nostalgic moments and a visit once again from the tournament's namesake Mr. Arthur Sachse. Poke through the pics below to see Arthur mingling with referees and players, handing out Championship medals and more....keep flipping through to see a brother trio that played hockey for the Grafton Wachusett LAKERS (where the tournament name came from!) sporting their vintage jerseys and jackets from when they themselves participated in the Lakers Tournament and Lakers Organization in the early 1990s. One of the brothers was a coach for his son's Mite team that participated in the Lakers Tournament this weekend some 30 years after he did! It has come to our attention that there has been a group and an additional page created here in Facebook both named Lakers Hockey Tournament 2025 and/or 41st Annual Lakers Tournament 2025. These SPAM pages and groups may have invited you to join. The group and page are fraudulent and have been reported. There are posts circulating to purchase tournament merchandise and those are a SCAM. All merchandise will be available for purchase at the rinks during the tournament. Please do not purchase anything through links on Facebook or follow instructions that may be posted in any other page or group. We recommend unfollowing any other Lakers Tournament page and removing yourself from the group with the same name to avoid any communication errors and confusion.
