Ascentria Immigrant Legal Assistance Program is deeply grateful to the Greater Worcester Community Foundation for its generous $150,000 grant as part of the Foundation's 50th anniversary investment in Worcester County.

This support will help us retain dedicated staff who assist individuals and families with critical immigration documentation and legal services, while also helping cover filing fees that can otherwise be significant barriers to stability and opportunity.

At a time when demand for immigration legal services remains high, this investment strengthens our ability to serve our community with compassion and expertise. Thank you to Greater Worcester Community Foundation and its donors for their commitment to creating equitable opportunities for all who call Worcester County home.

It was wonderful to have Charles Vogl with us for our 50th Annual Meeting and a special NSC session for nonprofit leaders!

Charles’ work on building belonging and strengthening community resonated deeply with attendees, sparking meaningful dialogue and new connections.

We are grateful to Charles, as well as everyone who actively participated in these sessions, for helping make our 50th Annual Meeting so special. 💙🩵

Thank you to the Greater Worcester Community Foundation for inviting me to join this year's special 50th Annual Meeting.

One of the great joys of this work is to meet and spend time with people who care deeply about the places and the changing communities within the spaces they call home.

Throughout the visit, I spoke with leaders, advocates, activists, and neighbors who continue to invest in Worcester County through generosity, cooperation, and long-term vision and commitment.

I was especially encouraged by the willingness of so many people to work across sectors of health, housing, education and others to build trust and invest in the well-being of those most struggling.

Community grows when people gather for connection and contribute to something around shared values. Lots of this was going on.

Thank you for the warm welcome and the meaningful conversations.
