Father Michael J. Roy, 77, of Worcester, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Friday, Feb. 21 at the Notre Dame Long Term Care and Rehabilitation Center.

The Knights of Columbus calls on all of its members and families to pray for our Holy Father, Pope Francis, as he faces health challenges. May God grant him strength, peace, and healing as he continues to lead the Church with wisdom and love.

Heavenly Father, we entrust Pope Francis to Your care. Grant him strength of body, peace of mind, and perseverance in spirit. May he be filled with Your grace and guided by Your wisdom as he continues to serve Your Church. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

What are you excited to celebrate this year? We’re excited to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Fourth Degree! On February 22, 1900, more than 1,200 men gathered in New York City to become Fourth Degree Sir Knights.

Now, 125 years later, we will again gather in New York City to bear witness to Catholic patriotism. Join us for this historic event that will feature an Exemplification of the Fourth Degree, Mass with Cardinal Dolan and Archbishop Lori, a statue dedication and more.

The relationship between President Ronald Reagan and St. John Paul II is the subject of a new exhibit at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California. “The Pope and the President: Bringing Hope to the World” opened Aug. 31 and runs through Oct. 27 with major sponsorship from the Knights of Columbus.
