Sanborn County 4-H The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility and life skills of youth through experiential learning programs.

4-H is a positive youth development organization that empowers young people to reach their full potential. A vast community of more than 6 million youth and adults working together for positive change, 4-H enables America’s youth to emerge as leaders through hands-on learning, research-based 4-H youth programs and adult mentorship, in order to give back to their local communities.

Our 4-H Advisor (4-H Educator) for Sanborn/Buffalo/Jerauld counties, Audra Scheel, resigned in May after 14 years of amazing leadership and impact for our 4-H program. We wish her the best of luck as she moves to a wonderful opportunity with SD FFA!

We have had the same Sanborn County 4-H Exhibitor t-shirt design for 2 years and have made the decision to design a new one for 2026 (vs keeping the same one for 3 years). We are looking for logo ideas but turnaround is tight. If you have an idea for a logo, please submit to Paula at [email protected] by Saturday, June 20th.
