What happens when we stop settling for crumbs and discover the joy in the abundance of God’s grace? We will also celebrate communion!

In Matthew 16, Jesus gives his disciples these challenging words. But what do they expect of us? And how does the cross change and shape our lives? Lots has been going on over the last two weeks at church: a baptism, a huge back-to-school, backpack blessing with over 40 kids (plus teachers and support staff), 50 quilts and 60 bags/purses ready for our friends at Church on the Street, 64 personal care kits packed for Lutheran World Relief. Oh, and Pastor John even preached a sermon on Peter as Rock while wearing a WWE "The Rock" shirt!
And there is still much more to come! Join us on Sunday, feel the Spirit, and get involved with all the amazing, wonderful things happening at Spirit of Faith!

Worship with us tomorrow at 9am as we explore the character Peter, the rocks we sometimes think we’re strong enough to be on our own, and the One who truly is strong enough to be our one true foundation.
