Today we officially wrap up our biggest fundraiser of the year!

10/27/2026

📣 ADVOCACY ALERT!! 📣

🗳️ Early voting is underway for the November 3rd election! One important item on the ballot is the RENEWAL of the Education-SPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax).

💰 This is NOT a new tax! Education-SPLOST is the renewal of an existing one-cent sales tax that has helped fund improvements to Cherokee County schools since 1997.

🏫 What does this mean for Carmel Elementary?

Carmel opened in 2000, and after 26 years, our school is due for some major updates! The proposed 2027–2032 Education-SPLOST includes significant renovations and improvements for Carmel, including HVAC, roofing, flooring, plumbing, classroom technology, and much more!

📸 Check out the graphics below to see the planned investments for Carmel Elementary and the entire Woodstock Zone!

📢 Carmel Colts families, stay informed and make your voice heard on or before November 3rd! 🐎
