This beautiful one-year-old, 40 lb Poodle mix is learning that being someone's dog is actually pretty wonderful.

After being abandoned with her siblings and dad, Ginny is still building confidence and learning to trust that she's safe.

She's a sweet, smart girl who may take a little time to settle in, but once she does, her loving personality shines. Give her patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, and you'll be rewarded with a gentle companion who just wants to belong.

Meet R***r ❤️

R***r is a one-year-old, 40 lb Poodle mix with a heart full of love. After being abandoned with his sister, brother and dad, he's learning what it means to be safe, comfortable, and part of a family.

He can be a little shy at first, but this sweet, smart boy is thriving in a home environment and has quickly discovered the joy of soft beds and cozy naps. Once he settles in, R***r is affectionate, eager to please, and ready to be someone's loyal companion.

All he needs is a little patience and a family willing to let him blossom at his own pace.

🐾 ABANDONED, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN: MEET JAY JAY 🐾

On a sweltering Sunday afternoon, a pickup truck approached a small bridge over a river tributary.
Scurrying around were seven frightened black puppies, desperately searching for safety as the daylight faded.

They were covered in fleas, caked in dirt, and clearly had never known the comfort of a home.

One of those puppies was Jay Jay.

Someone had discarded these innocent lives and driven away without looking back.

Thankfully, a kind-hearted woman stopped to help, and through a network of compassionate animal advocates, the puppies found safety. Thanks to the teamwork between Camp Cocoa and our amazing partner rescue, Critter Cavalry Rescue, Jay Jay was given the second chance he deserved.

Today, Jay Jay is learning all the wonderful things puppyhood should have included from the start. He's discovering air conditioning, warm baths, regular meals, soft beds, and most importantly, love.💕

Jay Jay is sweet, gentle, and gets along well with other dogs. While he's still a little shy with new people, he's making progress every day. Trust isn't built overnight, especially when you've never had a family of your own. But this young boy is eager to learn that the world can be a safe and loving place.

Puppy fever has officially hit Camp Cocoa! We are so excited to introduce you to these adorable hound puppies, part of a 12-pup litter born in rescue after their mama was saved from life on the streets. They are as sweet as can be, so well behaved and snuggly!! Come meet them whether to adopt or just get a puppy fix, they sure would love the attention! 🐾🐶❤️

🐾 **Meet Dottie!** 🐾

From surviving under a flatbed trailer in rural Tennessee to thriving in foster care, sweet Dottie has already overcome so much in her young life.

Born to Honey, a homeless Golden Retriever mix who struggled to keep her eight puppies safe and fed, Dottie and her family were discovered living in a wooded area after a kindhearted single mom heard rumors about the abandoned litter. Determined to help, she rescued Honey and her pups and connected with our partner Critter Cavalry Rescue, who stepped in to help this deserving family find brighter futures.

Today, Dottie is blossoming into the wonderful puppy she was always meant to be here at Camp Cocoa. 💕

With her stunning green eyes, adorable chocolate freckles, and loving personality, Dottie is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She loves being close to her people, joining in on family fun, and curling up for cozy movie nights. She's smart, gentle, eager to learn, and has never met a stranger.

We asked and Wesley delivered!! We cannot thank our supporters enough for this much needed sanctuary building upgrade! These floors were desperately needing a make-over and we couldn't be happier with the result!

Wesley worked fast (all while we still had foster pups waiting for homes), helped us pick the best option which would be suitable for not only the dogs but the weather, our upkeep as well as at a price the nonprofit could afford, thank you so much! 🙏😍
