🐾 Your support gave Twig a second chance!!!

🐈 While driving from one trapping location to another in Compton, the dedicated team at TippedEars stumbled upon a skinny chocolate calico cat. They swiftly captured her and took her to Helen Sanders CatPAWS to be spayed and vaccinated, part of a new targeted TNR initiative funded by FixNation.

💜 On release day, the kitty’s breathing seemed ragged. A thorough veterinary exam revealed that she had a bad case of calicivirus, a highly contagious virus that causes respiratory infections and oral disease. Despite this, the newly named Twig was extremely friendly, so off to foster care she went.

🥰 Fast forward 2 months and Twig continues to thrive in her foster home. She loves to play with wand toys, craves attention and snuggles up with her foster mom every night. The TippedEars team made sure that Twig received dental treatment, antibiotics and loads of tender loving care. She will soon be ready for adoption and we can't wait to hear this gorgeous girl has found a forever home!

🐾 Stories like Twig’s remind us why our work is so vital and why planning for the future matters so much. With love that lasts, we can come together to build a future where every tame cat has a home and every community cat is respected and cared for.

🐈 Across the country, thousands of animal lovers have already written "love letters" through their wills, protecting the people, pets and causes closest to their hearts. Before National Make-A-Will Month comes to a close, we invite you to join them by creating or updating your will in as little as 20 minutes, completely free.

💜 The wishes you record today will that ensure your loved ones and homeless cats like Twig are supported tomorrow. Start here! https://tinyurl.com/3dsx9x3z

For a stray cat, every day is about survival. 💔🐾

While our cats sleep safely in warm beds with full bowls nearby, countless strays are searching for scraps, hiding from danger, shivering through cold nights, and wondering where they can rest without being chased away.

They didn’t choose the streets. They didn’t choose hunger, fear, loneliness, or a life without a home.

Behind every dirty coat and frightened pair of eyes is a little life that wants the same things every cat deserves—food, warmth, safety, kindness, and love. ❤️

Please don’t see stray cats as pests. See them as lives worth protecting. A bowl of food, clean water, a safe shelter, or one compassionate act may seem small to us, but to them, it can mean everything.

Stray cats matter too. 🐾❤️

Sometimes saving the world starts with saving just one. ❤️🐾 We may not be able to reach every animal in need, but to the one whose life is changed, that love means everything.
