🎓🔧 Celebrating our 2026 Pierce College Automotive graduates!

It was an honor to recognize the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of our AST students as they prepare to enter the automotive workforce.

A special thank you to Bob Smith and the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association for supporting our students with tool awards. The selected recipients were recognized for meeting the criteria established by Bob Smith graduates who are entering the industry and currently employed at a dealership. These awards help provide the tools and support needed to launch successful automotive careers.

Congratulations to all of our graduates and award recipients. We are proud of your achievements and excited to see what the future holds for each of you! 🚗🎉

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a separate Automotive Graduation Celebration on June 8th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, the day before the main Pierce College commencement ceremony on June 9th.
This event is open to all Automotive students, including graduating students, undergraduates, friends, and family members. We want this to be a fun celebration where we can recognize our graduates and bring everyone together as a department.
📍 Location: PAUTO3715 Middle Bay
🚘 Guest Entrance: Parking Lot 8 Entrance
The event will include:
• Student award presentations
• Food/BBQ
• Music
• Project cars on display
• Family and friends welcome
Graduates will have the opportunity to walk across the stage and receive recognition for their accomplishments. Even if you are not graduating this semester, we encourage everyone to come out and support your classmates and enjoy the event together.
We hope to see everyone there!

Pierce College Automotive students had an amazing opportunity earlier this month at the Mopar/Stellantis Career Event held at Santa Anita Race Track on May 4, 2026. This was definitely an experience our students will never forget.

Students got an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the newest 2026 Stellantis vehicles, learned about the latest powertrains and automotive technology directly from industry experts, and connected with local Stellantis dealership personnel actively looking to hire future technicians.

One of the biggest highlights of the event was the professional drift ride-along experience in the all-new 2026 Dodge Charger. For many of our students, this was their very first time riding alongside a professional drift driver, and the excitement was unforgettable. Students also got to witness a live TRX demonstration and see firsthand what modern performance engineering is all about.

Events like these are important because they connect classroom learning with real-world industry experience while opening doors to future career opportunities in the automotive field. Thank you to Mopar and Stellantis for hosting such an incredible event and supporting the next generation of automotive professionals.

The holiday season is always filled with great events, and one tradition we look forward to every year is attending the Los Angeles Auto Show for the Bob Smith CNCDA Job Fair. Our Pierce College Automotive students had the chance to meet directly with top industry employers such as Longo Toyota, New Century BMW, Airport Marina Ford, Sierra Los Angeles, Bob Smith BMW, Keys Lexus, and many more.

It was an incredible opportunity for students to network, connect with industry leaders, gain valuable career insights and enjoy free lunch and free admission to the LA Auto Show, where they explored some of the most impressive cars on display. This year, over 61 students attended, making it one of our best turnouts yet. We’re already looking forward to returning next year!
