YMCA Camp Potawotami At YMCA Camp Potawotami, we work to increase camper's sense of accomplishment and belonging while they learn about positive character traits and values.

Our tools are well-trained staff, carefully planned programs and safe, clean facilities. Campers gain a sense of accomplishment by trying activities and developing new skills - for many campers, being away from home for a week is an accomplishment in itself! otawotami community. We emphasize character traits and values in many ways during the week. YMCA Camp Potawotami places an emphasis on learning, growing and doing your best. The character traits we focus on are Honesty, Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Faith. Our unique Wampum Bead program encourages campers to choose a character trait to work on during camp and throughout the entire year.

Our Amazing staff have an annual end of staff training auction where all the proceeds go toward camperships and we are excited to share we raised $2,504.

Every dollar raised helps make camp possible for children who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience friendships, adventures, and memories that camp provides. We are grateful to our staff for their generosity and commitment to ensuring camp is accessible to all.

If you would like even more campers to attend camp this summer, donations are always welcome. Your support can make a lasting impact in a child's life and help create unforgettable camp experiences.
