These kids are almost into troop level in scouting and definitely experienced the "big kid" stuff this summer! ⛺🔥

Curious about the difference between a Cub Scout Pack and a Scouting America Troop?

🐻 Pack (K–5th): Adult-led, family-oriented, and learning the outdoor basics together in Dens.

⚜️ Troop (6th–12th): Youth-led and focused on real adventure. The Scouts plan campouts and cook their own meals while leaders mentor and guide safely on the sidelines.

Next stop: Troop life?! 🌲🧭

Whether you’re grilling with family, watching fireworks, or just enjoying a beautiful day in Wisconsin, we hope you have a safe and wonderful holiday. Cooling off at the pool today and checking "swim tests" off our to-do list for summer camp! 🌊

A huge congratulations to our Scouts who reached the "Swimmer" level today—that’s a major achievement! And to every Scout who got in the water and did their best: we are so proud of your effort and bravery. We would like to thank the WI Dells Pool and staff for providing us the space and lifeguards to cool off on this scorching day.

A night to remember at the ballpark! ⚾️

There is something special about sharing these kinds of nights with your friends and family—watching the excitement in their eyes as they camp under the stadium lights, cheer for the home team, and just get to be kids.It is exactly the kind of environment we strive to create in Pack 79, where everyday moments turn into stories they will tell for years.

The best way to beat the Automotion traffic? Head deep into the woods for a Scout campout! 🪵✨

We had an amazing weekend celebrating our Pack’s Rank Up ceremony! It’s been a phenomenal year, and Pack 79 is so incredibly proud of every single one of these Scouts!

Congratulations on completing your rank!

Bonus: We got to hand out a special welcome award to our incoming Kindergarten Lion who will be joining the crew next year! 🦁💛 Our hearts are so full seeing our family pack grow.

None of this would be possible without our incredible volunteers and leaders. Thank you to everyone who stepped up, pitched in, and dedicated your time to make this weekend—and this entire year—such a massive success! We truly have the best crew. 🙌 Also shotout to Hannah for taking the time to come out and photograph our scouts!

Time to unpack the gear, clean off the campfire smoke, and start dreaming up next year's adventures! 🏕️🥾
