Celebrating 60 Years of Serving Our Community

On October 14, 2026, we proudly celebrated our Fourth 60th Anniversary Celebration in Beaver Dam, marking this special milestone at the future home of the Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry!

The celebration was held at 311 Dodge Drive, the future location of the new facility that will house Central Wisconsin Community Action Council, staff and a Top-Notch Food Pantry.

We were honored to welcome Congressman Glenn Grothman and Mayor Bobbi Marck as we celebrated six decades of service and looked ahead to a new chapter for the community. A special Thank You to Tory Jax, who opened the celebration with a beautiful performance of the National Anthem, and Chris Utley for the music entertainment.

We are filled with gratitude for the community members, partners, supporters, and dedicated individuals who have helped make this work possible.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this milestone and all those who worked at putting it together.

Olivia officially completed the program on September 18,2026. She began her Wheels 2 Work journey in Columbia County and later moved to Jefferson County-both counties proudly served by CWCAC for Wheels 2 Work-where she continued to demonstrate the commitment and responsibility needed to successfully complete the program.

Today, we were excited to recognize Olivia’s accomplishment with a $100 Kwik Trip Gift Card, Program Completion Certificate, Wheels 2 Work Swag, and Award Trophy.

The Wheels 2 Work Completion Award recognizes participants who consistently demonstrate responsibility throughout their loan by following program guidelines, making payments on time without missed payments or late fees, maintaining employment and required insurance, caring for their vehicle and completing required maintenance, maintaining stable housing, communicating changes with the Program Manager, and following the programs requirements regarding being the insured driver of the vehicle and other requirements.

These expectations matter because the goal of Wheels 2 Work is not simply to provide a vehicle-it’s about helping participants build stability, responsibility, and independence along the way.
