The Body of Christ, our nation, and the world have lost one of its most fearless voices for truth. While we grieve the passing of Charlie Kirk, we rejoice knowing that his life and ministry will echo through generations. By the grace of God, he and his ministry, Turning Point USA, shook the foundations of culture and made great strides towards turning the hearts and minds of America’s youth back to truth. His courage, passion, determination, and intellectual prowess were unmatched, and his devotion to Christ was unwavering as he fought to preserve freedom and righteousness for future generations.
A fearless debater, Charlie wielded truth and fact like a battle-tested warrior, cutting down lies with precision and power. At times, he was like a surgeon, carefully exposing and removing the cancer of woke ideology that seeks to destroy our nation, while caring for the the individual soul that stood in front of him.
Charlie was so effective in his calling that evil itself took notice and unleashed a campaign of hatred like few have experienced. Yet he remained steadfast in his purpose. Jesus declared, “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you” (John 15:18). Charlie bore that hatred with grace and boldness, never shrinking back, never compromising, always pressing forward.
As we honor his life, we must rise to carry the torch he has passed on to those who share those same values. Let us not retreat. Let us not grow weary. Let us step into the fight with the same fire that burned within him so that one day when we come to the end of our time we may have this testimony that the Apostle Paul and Charlie share:
“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:6–8, NKJV)
Charlie, you will be missed brother, but we will see you on that Day.
We pray for the grace and comfort of the Holy Spirit to cover his wife and children during this difficult time.
