Want to learn a little bit about 10 people of Winneconne's past?
Join us on Sat, Sept 19, 2026 @ 1pm for a cemetery walk in the Village Cemetery on S. 3rd Ave.
Learn who preserved a lot of our history. Learn about the first brewery in the village. Hear about about the lives of a couple civil war soldiers. Did you know one of those soldiers wives wasn't afraid of the Indians? One family lived through a lot of tragedy and invented something still used today in the medical field! A man who only planned to stay in town for 2-3 years and served the community for 46 years! Did you know we are the forever home of a man who was a member of the Spirit of '44?
We have some fascinating stories to share!
