Dear NECPA Members and Friends,
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of longtime NECPA board member, Treasurer, colleague, and dear friend, Sam Sloan of Sloan Machinery.
For many years, Sam dedicated his time, leadership, and heart to NECPA and to the canvas products industry as a whole. Sam’s leadership, insight, and steadfast dedication left a lasting mark on our organization.
Beyond his many contributions to NECPA, Sam will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, humor, and genuine care for the people around him. Many of us looked forward to seeing him at meetings and events, he often brought one of his industrial sewing machines to provide demonstrations and share insights.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Sam’s family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Sam leaves behind a legacy of service, professionalism, and friendship that will not be forgotten. He will be greatly missed by all of us at NECPA.
