Southern New Hampshire University volunteers came together last week for a meaningful hands on project supporting Jayme’s Bears 🧸

Organized by SNHU student Sydney Roubian with support from the Chandler Center, volunteers spent the day cutting fabric, stuffing bears, and packaging them for delivery. Each step reflected teamwork, care, and community spirit. A special thank you goes to Rose for her dedication at the sewing machine!

Once completed, the bears were delivered to Roca Kidz Club in Manchester, NH, an organization that provides mentorship, literacy programs, and a safe supportive environment for children and teens 💛

Thank you to our SNHU volunteers!

When we give, we gain. 💜

The 2026 theme for International Women's Day is Give To Gain, a reminder that generosity creates opportunity. Supporting women through mentorship, advocacy, education, and visibility helps build stronger communities for everyone.

Every action matters. Giving knowledge, time, encouragement, or recognition can help move gender equality forward.

What will you give to help advance women and girls today and throughout the year?

A Day On Not a Day Off!

Today the country observes MLK Day, or Civil Rights/Human Rights Day, reminding us of the incredible work of Doctor Martin Luther King Junior.

His visions have and will continue to touch generations to come. We echoe Dr. King’s vision of the entire country and further, the entire world being a beloved community.

The 2026 mission statement from The King Center is simple, but profound: “Mission Possible: Protecting Freedom, Justice, and Democracy in the Spirit of Nonviolence.”

In an ever-shocking political landscape and even more shocking reality in our towns and cities, the message of nonviolence has never been more relevant.

Not only is MLK/Civil Rights Day a holiday, but it’s also the only holiday designated as a national day of service, meant to be “a day on, not a day off.”

December 10th marks Human Rights Day, and this year's focus is "Human Rights: Our Everyday Essentials."

Did you know the right to speak, learn, work, and move freely are human rights we rely on daily? For many, this stability is simply expected, but for others, it's a daily fight.

At Jayme's Fund, we stand for the idea that protecting dignity and opportunity for everyone is a shared responsibility. Every choice you make to treat others fairly and include diverse voices strengthens our global community.

Read our new blog post to see how your everyday actions contribute to the realization of human rights.

As a social justice and human rights advocate for children, Jayme’s Fund recognizes and supports World Children’s Day! This day promotes the welfare and rights of children worldwide. Established by the United Nations, World Children’s Day began with the 1959 adoption of the Declaration of the Rights of a Child, setting a global standard for children’s rights. Thirty years later, the UN ratified the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), now the most widely ratified human rights treaty, emphasizing essential rights to survival, protection, development, and participation.

World Children’s Day calls upon all of us to care about children’s rights, to ensure children have the opportunity to grow and thrive in safe and nurturing environments!

Thank you, Amber, for the difference you’ve made with Jayme’s Fund 💜

What began as a college work-study job grew into a heartfelt commitment. Recently, Amber delivered Jayme’s Bears to Dana-Farber’s Blum Family Resource Center. Her dedication has touched families in meaningful ways, spreading comfort and hope when it is needed most.

In her interview, she shares how creating and delivering bears reminds her of the power of small gestures to bring hope and connection.
