Our Caring Closet NFP We are a 501(c)(3) charity in Wilmington, IL. Founded in 2008, Our Caring Closet collects household goods and clothing to give away in a dignified atmosphere.

Our “Back to School Fair” will be held Tuesday, July 28 and Thursday, July 30 from 9:00 am to noon, during our regular open hours. Pre-registration is required. Forms are available at Our Caring Closet. You can also register by phone 815-926-2009, or message us on Facebook. Please include your name, city, phone number, age and gender of each child, and size for underwear and socks. Registration will close July 20, 2026. We look forward to seeing you at this event.

Join us May 2nd to support Our Caring Closet at the Dollars for Dogs fundraiser. Special thanks to our host, Wilmington Ace Hardware. All proceeds from this event will support our Back to School Sock and Underwear Drive. We will have hot dogs, chips, drinks, bake sale items and a charity flea market. We look forward to seeing everyone!
