🦃❤️ BEFORE THE CHRISTMAS MAGIC… THERE HAS TO BE THANKSGIVING. ❤️🎄
Do you remember being little during the holidays?
The smell of Thanksgiving dinner coming from the kitchen. The sound of family laughing around the table. Grandma making way too much food. Sneaking a cookie when nobody was looking. 🥹❤️
And then came Christmas…
The twinkling lights, the excitement of Santa, and that magical feeling of waking up knowing something wonderful was waiting for you.
Looking back, it wasn’t always the presents or the food we remembered most.
It was how those moments made us FEEL.
Loved. Safe. Remembered.
Now imagine being a parent who wants nothing more than to give their children those same memories, but is quietly wondering how they’re going to put a Thanksgiving dinner on the table.
That’s where my heart is right now. ❤️
For 10 years, The BCA Hub Youth & Resource Center has been showing up for children, families, and seniors during emergencies, unexpected hardships, and the moments when they need someone in their corner.
We’ve packed diapers, delivered essentials, responded to emergencies, prepared holiday meals, adopted Christmas Angels, and sent our Christmas elves out to bring a little magic to children who need it most.
And here’s something I want you to know…
🦉 NOT ONE OF US RECEIVES A PAYCHECK.
Not our volunteers. Not our Hub Angels. Not even me, the founder.
No government funding. No grant funding supporting our work.
Just ordinary people with extraordinary hearts, doing pure heart work because we believe kindness should never have a price tag.
But right now, we need our community to show up for us, too.
🦃 THANKSGIVING IS OUR FIRST AND MOST URGENT MISSION.
We have families counting on us, and we still need funding to purchase turkeys, holiday groceries, and everything that makes a Thanksgiving meal possible.
At this point, financial contributions are what will help us most. They allow us to purchase exactly what’s missing and put donations to work where they’re needed.
❤️ Whether it’s $5, $10, $25, $50, or more, your generosity can help us move closer to another family sitting down together at Thanksgiving.
And after Thanksgiving? Oh, my goodness, the Christmas magic our Hub Angels have planned! 🎅✨
Our beloved Angel Tree, Santa’s Secret Castle, and our magical Elf Deliveries are all part of the memories we hope to create this season.
But first, we have to get those Thanksgiving tables ready.
