We launched the inaugural BBQ Basics in August. BBQ Basics is designed to teach veterans, first responders, and military the basics of BBQ. We enhance backyard skills while growing a love of BBQ to share with others. We conducted 4 events (Coast Guard NYC, Travis Mills Foundation in Maine, Kingsport, TN, and Fort Bragg, NC), engaging over 100 participants and feeding more than 7,800 meals.

Please comment and share pictures if you were a part of BBQ Basics.

OBR's The Always Serving Project kicked off in April with the inaugural Breaking Bread Tour. The BBT was a run, bike, and hand cycle from Los Angeles to Phoenix to El Paso to San Antonio to Houston to Hammond to Panama City and into Tampa.
Over the course of more than 2,900 miles, we served over 80,000 meals to the military, first responders, and those in need of a hot meal.
Please comment and share pictures if you helped out with the Breaking Bread Tour.

As we approach the end of the year, we will be highlighting different Operation BBQ Relief deployments and events with The Always Serving Projects in 2019. We are grateful to the OBR family of volunteers, sponsors, and supporters that helped us further our mission in 2019.

We highlight today the deployment in March to Fremont, Nebraska following heavy flooding. OBR served 15,830 meals in 18 days.

Please comment and share pictures if you were on this deployment!
