On the afternoon of September 22nd the department, along with surrounding fire departments, were dispatched to Tidewater Lane for a reported house fire. Engine 1612, Ladder 1615, and Chief Burnett responded immediately and noticed a large column of smoke while enroute. Initial reports from Willingboro Township Police Department officers on location was the house was well involved in fire.

Engine 1612 arrived on scene and reported a house with a two car garage heavily involved in fire, along with two cars. Firefighter Turner took a 1 3/4" hoseline to the garage and started to extinguish the cars that were on fire and the garage area. Captain Fresco and Firefighter Dawson took a 2" hoseline into the home and started to fight the fire from inside. Chief Burnett arrived on scene and took command of the incident.

Their crew entered the home to assist with the fire extinguishment and to search the home for any occupants. Additional arriving units from Hope Hose Co 2: Beverly, NJ, Cinnaminson Fire Department, Moorestown Hose Company No. 1, Burlington Township Fire Department, Delran Fire Department, and Croydon Fire Company, Station 11 assisted with fire extinguishment, secondary searches, and other fireground tasks.
