EAA Chapter 216 Based out of Cross Keys Airport, EAA Chapter 216 is a growing and diverse group of pilots and aviation enthusiasts dedicated to promoting general aviation.

The EAA is a non-profit organization comprised of pilots and aviation enthusiasts alike. The mission of the EAA is to promote general aviation to all generations, expanding the public's interest in all aspects of aviation and related fields. Chapter 216 is a branch of the EAA, based out of Cross Keys Airport, NJ. Chapter 216 is growing and excited to be on Facebook, and will use this page to alert the public of all upcoming Chapter 216 events as well as local aviation events in the area. Congratulations to our chapter member and one of our scholarship recipients, Jonah Schmitz, on completing his first solo today! đź‘Ź

Jonah is currently completing his flight training at Velocity Flight School at Cross Keys in the Cessna 172 with our chapter secretary, Harry! He was also our recipient for the Velocity Flight School scholarship, which was 10 hours of flight training covered by Velocity. Great job, Jonah! đź’Ş

Congratulations to our chapter member, one of our 2025-26 scholarship recipients, and 2025 Tom McDowell Aviation Safety awardee, Colin Brown, on completing his commercial pilot practical test today! đź’Ş

Colin has been an active member of our Pilot Proficiency Program, winning the Tom McDowell Aviation Safety Award last year, he was also our recipient for the $1,500 Cacia’s Bakery scholarship, which was generously donated by Sam Cacia & his bakery! He completed his training at Flying W in Lumberton, NJ in the Cessna 172! Awesome work today, Colin! 👏

Reminder & Update | Fall Festival | 10/10/26

**Due to a shortage in volunteers, there will be NO Young Eagles flights. We still encourage you though to come out for some fun & games that the airport has to offer! We do apologize for this inconvenience! To schedule a Young Eagles flight, please email [email protected] to book a flight!**

**Bucks Airport is currently looking for ground volunteers to help with the event! If you are interested in helping out, please contact Aaron Pearl at (609) 805-0408.**

We are 3 DAYS away from the second annual Fall Festival at Bucks! Our friends at Bucks Airport (00N) are hosting their second annual Fall Festival this year! Whether if you’re flying in, driving, or walking, come on out for some airplanes, food, games, and fun! 🤩

If you are flying in, you get a free t-shirt courtesy of the airport! (One per plane)

The rain date is October 17th if inclement weather is forecasted on the initial date of the festival.

Congratulations to our chapter member & one of this year’s scholarship recipients, Alyssa Acree, on completing her instrument rating practical test today! 👏

Alyssa completed her training in Cape May at 609 Aviation in the Sling NGT and was our recipient of the 2025-26 $3,000 Richard Oliver Memorial scholarship, which was generously donated by Bonnie Gene Oliver in memory of Richard Matlock Oliver. We’re very proud of you, Alyssa! Keep up the great work! 💪

Milestone Alert! 🚨

Congratulations to our chapter member & one of this year’s scholarship recipients, Jordan Sprowl, on completing her Commercial Pilot practical test yesterday! 💪

Jordan completed her training in Millville at Big Sky Aviation in the Cessna 172 and was our recipient for the 2025-26 $2,000 Strikes & Stride scholarship, which came from two of our fundraising events hosted by Josh Weiner (Top Run 5K) and Farhan Kazi (Open Bowling Fundraiser). We’re so proud of you, Jordan! Great job! 👏
