Coming up on June 3rd is our monthly business meeting! Located at the Lewis Properties Quonset Hut at 7 PM. We’ll be serving barbecue chicken kebabs!

These meetings are an excellent opportunity to hear about what our various committees are up to- including our scholarship committee, membership committee, pilot proficiency program, flight advisors, and more. We also use this time to prepare for upcoming events. At our meeting on Wednesday, we will finalize preparations for our Sunset Festival Fly-In BBQ on June 6th, create a marketing strategy for our General Chapter Meeting in June, and select an event coordinator for our Philly Pretzel Fly-In in July.

If you have questions, ideas, or suggestions, please feel free to stop by, or if unable, pass your message along to any of the chapter officers. Thank you all for helping to make our chapter a nice & inclusive aviation community!

If you’re interested in learning the answer to the question of the month, join us Tuesday evening for our online IMC Club, via Zoom.

This month’s scenario involves an approach on an IFR flight in VFR conditions with complicating factors.

If you’re instrument rated, working on your instrument rating, or just interested in learning more about IFR flying, be sure to check out our online IMC Club, Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm on Zoom! Details posted below:
