People's Express to offer FREE rides on Election Day!!

People's Express would like to share that the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners, in collaboration with the main transportation providers (PEX, AAATA, & WAVE), is providing free fares on Election Day! This initiative is to help residents remove barriers in accessing the polls across the county on Election Day (Tuesday, November 3).

Residents can call the day of the election to schedule a ride, and People’s Express will have dedicated vehicles throughout the area to help meet demand.

They have also created a website to help Washtenaw County residents identify which transportation provider to call to arrange their Election Day ride. https://washtenaw-election-day-ride-finder.replit.app/

The results are in! And we're not just talking about the winners of the game. 😏

Battle of the Badges, the charity softball game whose teams were the Northfield Township Police Department V Northfield Township Fire Department, resulted in $910 and 500 lbs of nonperishables for the benefit of our food pantry.

Thank you Northfield Fire Department, Northfield Police Department, Northfield Township Government Office, Whitmore Lake Public Schools, Living Water Church of Whitmore Lake, and all who donated to us and supported our neighbors in need. 🧡
