The team at Whitmore Lake Area Human Services has coordinated with Food Gatherers and Whitmore Lake Public Schools for our local high school (7430 Whitmore Lake Rd, Whitmore Lake) to be a Meet Up and Eat Up location this summer.

Dedicated members of our community will be distributing meals starting next week, June 18, from 4:00 PM to 3:30 PM on a weekly basis. Meals will include...

‼️ Important Announcement ‼️

There will be a road closure on Main St in Whitmore Lake around June 22, 2026. This closure will be in effect until late October 2026.

Our food pantry will still be open during the closure. HOWEVER...

Visitors can no longer access our site if they are arriving to our location (9075 Brookside Dr) driving southbound on Main St. Instead, Main St southbound visitors must take 23S, Exit 50. Take a left onto 6 Mile Rd, and a left onto Main St until you reach our food pantry. Visitors will need to take 23N when departing our location.

This is the official planned detour provided by Washtenaw County Road Commission. Our organization does not have a say in this matter. We understand that this construction will cause much inconvenience for our community, not just those who interact with our nonprofit. Because of this, we encourage our neighbors to spread the word so that everyone in our community can plan their routes accordingly.

The Whitmore Lake Farmers Market's first day of the season is right around the corner! We're excited to participate again this year and connect with the community.
