Who do we serve at the Center of Hope? So far this year, 21% of our neighbors are new to us and 4% of those are completely new to visiting pantries! Neighbors come in for food, but the journey to get to us is different for each of them. Some have lost jobs, the death of a spouse or just the day to day rising cost of living. Join us on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, 11:30am-1:30pm to hear about God's Miraculous Hope.

Have you ever thought about what poverty looks like to a child? Sounds like? Feels like? At the Center of Hope, approximately 35% of the neighbors we serve are children. Studies show that about 33% of children who grow up in poverty, live their adult lives in poverty.

Our mission is to provide hope and resources to help our neighbors in need find freedom from all forms of poverty.

Please join us on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026, 11:00am-1:00pm to hear powerful statement about growing up in poverty, and finding freedom!

We have another celebration! ❤️ Don & Linda are celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary❤️ They have both been volunteering with us for about a year. They were inspired to join us after hearing about us at their church. Don does reclamation pick ups for us weekly (and sometimes more when we need him) and Linda serves in our Choice Nutrition Food Pantry. They have great hearts to serve and we appreciate them. So, if you see them around, with them a happy anniversary.

Now THAT'S a zucchini! The cucumbers are overachievers too!
Thanks to Wasserstrom Co for this produce and more! They planted a garden this year, just to bless our neighbors! We ❤️ partnerships.

Sharon Epting has volunteered with us OVER 10 years- serving in more ways than we can count.
About 2 years ago, her husband Glenn retired, and then we put him to work! 😁😉

They recently celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary 😍👰‍♀🤵 When asked their secret to 51 years of wedded bliss, one of them said, "Shake your head and leave the room."- we'll let you guess who said that 😉
The both agreed that listening is the start, letting go and letting God deal with things is a better way and things go better when living under the Lordship of Jesus. Amen to that!

Go to Kroger.com, add our unique code, GU661, to your Kroger Plus card, then swipe at the check- out just like always. If you shop at either Whitehall Kroger store, you can purchase a Fight Hunger bag and Kroger will donate $1.00 for each bag purchased directly to us!

Partnership in action!

A huge THANK YOU to the amazing team from the City of Columbus Office of Violence Prevention!

A few months ago we started partnering with them to provide food boxes to their clients in need.

This week, THEY showed up for US—sorting and packing the food bags and boxes that we distribute through partner agencies like theirs!
