SERVE THE CITY is BACK!!!!!

With a group of 7-teens and 4-adults, totaling 3-different churches, this mighty team weeded the front and back areas of our property all around the building and boy was it needed! This is the type of hard work we have come to appreciate from Serve the City, year after year.

What is Serve the City?

It is a Summer Missions inner city mission trip for students who want to make a real difference in their world. They experience powerful worship, great messages and then take it to the streets, serving the people of Columbus to show God's love in practical ways.

To all who participated yesterday, THANK YOU!! You did an AMAZING JOB! The outside looks fantastic all because you came and showed up! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

This passage so beautifully illustrates both the unity and diversity of the Body of Christ--The Church.

“Just as the human body is one, though it has many parts that together form one body, so too is Christ. For by one Spirit we all were immersed and mingled into one single body.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭12‬-‭13‬a TPT‬‬

This illustration of the human body being made up of many different parts with each serving a unique purpose, and the Church being made up of many individuals with various roles and gifts is so amazing. According to Scripture, each member has enormous value and is essential, regardless of their function or status. Believers are united through the Holy Spirit into one body, and God has intentionally designed each person's place within it.

We love how our Creator made a place for us all!

Having organizational scripture verses can help a ministry reflect the heart, mission, and guiding principles of the organization as related to Biblical truth.

It also serves as a spiritual foundation and a constant reminder of why the ministry exists and how it seeks to serve others. I Corinthians 13: 4-8, is one of five scripture verses we hold at Victory Ministries.

"Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends (fails)."

When we pause to remember who God is and all He has done, gratitude changes our perspective. Even in uncertain seasons, we can rejoice, declare His goodness, and lift His name above every worry and every circumstance.

May this be a reminder today to praise Him wholeheartedly and rest in the faithfulness of the Most High.
