White Lake Junior Golf Foundation

WLJGF started as an idea to promote the future of this great sport, our youth.

The WLJGF's mission is to engage White Lake area youth in the game of golf while developing integrity, self-confidence, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love of the game. With that in mind, we plan to conduct professionally run teaching clinics at WLGC that focus on the fundamentals of the game while also teaching proper sportsmanship, etiquette, and course management. In order to provide the best su

pport to our youth, we hope to provide golf equipment, improve the WLGC teaching facilities, and increase support for the local White Lake area High School teams.

Meet the Board | Randy Lindquist

Randy is the superintendent at the Muskegon Area Intermediate School District. He has more than 30 years in education as a teacher and an administrator, and grew up in the White Lake area. He is a member of WLGC and has been on the WLJG Foundation since its inception in 2021 serving as the Treasurer.

It’s BACK! The 2nd Annual FREE Girls Golf Clinic is here!

Sponsored by the White Lake Junior Golf Foundation, we’re thrilled to bring this amazing opportunity back for another year. Last year’s clinic filled up fast—and this year, we’ve doubled the number of participants to give even more girls a chance to get in the game!

Meet the Board | Frank Wierengo

Frank is a lifelong golfer and a founding member of the WLJG Foundation. Frank was originally from the Muksegon area and returned to West Michigan with his wife after a manufacturing career in Houston, Texas. He has served as President since the foundation was formed in 2020.

For those of you who are new here, welcome to the WLJGF. We are a charitable organization that's dedicated to promoting junior golf in the White Lake Area. If you have young kids, grandkids, or work with children we'd love for you to help pass along information to them and their parents. We'll be promoting/assisting with junior golf clinics/classes and events as well as supporting our local area HS teams.
