As a member of the White Lake Association (WLA), I am excited to announce that our White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has decided to bring back the Maritime Festival on August 6, 7 and 8, 2026. The last time Whitehall and Montague, Michigan held this fun-filled festival was in 2012. WLA is hosting the Wooden Boat Show on Saturday, August 8, and we would love for you and your organization to be a part of it. The wooden boats will be docked at the White Lake Municipal Marina, 100 Lake Street, Whitehall MI 49461. More details will follow, but reach out to me if you would be interested in being a part of this exciting event. If you know of other wooden boat owners that would be interested in our event, please forward this email to them.

September 15-19 is Septic Smart week. Anyone with a septic system should be aware of the guidelines from the EPA. Please check out our webpage, Whitelakeasssocation.org for guidelines as well information on low interest loans available if you need to replace your septic system. Remember if you have a well, you want healthy ground water, and all of us living near the lake should protect it too!
