⚾🐾 A major-league moment for Paige & CJ!

In celebration of National Guide Dog Month, Guide Dogs of the Desert graduate team Paige and CJ were honored as Service Dog of the Game at Fenway Park! ❤️

The pair graduated with our Winter 2024 class and have since celebrated some incredible milestones together, including Paige graduating from college and starting a new job.

A little puppy with a very important future! 🐾💙

Guide Dogs of the Desert had a wonderful time speaking with the Optimist Club of Pomona and sharing more about the work that goes into raising and training our future guide dogs.

15-week-old Layla joined us with her puppy raiser, Jodi Hagen, and gave the group a special demonstration of the skills she’s already learning, including “sit” and “down.” 🦮👏 She may be young, but every lesson, outing and new experience is helping prepare her for the journey ahead.

Thank you to the Optimist Club of Pomona for welcoming us and giving us the opportunity to share our mission. And, of course, thank you to Jodi for helping Layla learn, grow and get one step closer to changing someone’s life. 💙🐾
