Hurricane Penguins Swim Club Our team is a non-profit, parent-run organization governed by United States Swimming, Inc., and Michigan Swimming.

We are led by a volunteer Board of Directors, and we operate according to the Bylaws published on our website. Our team is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and abilities. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.

Hurricane Penguin swimmers Nora Gorski and Corinne Mayer had great open water swims in the Swim To the Moon race this morning. Nora swam the .5 mile and placed 1st. And Corrine swam the 5k and placed 2nd. Great swims ladies!🏊🏼‍♀️🏊🏼‍♀️

Epic ending to the 2026 Central Zone meet in Evansville, IN Team Michigan wins the Team Championship scoring over 5,000 points. We enjoyed the win with the whole team jumping in the pool. Brooke Lindsey & Claire Gostlin both had great swims. Brooke in the 100 Free placing 15th and Claire in the 200 IM placing 11th.

14&U Central Zones Day 3 was exciting! Claire Gostlin placed 3rd in the 13-14 200 Fly dropping 2.13 seconds. Nora Gorski completed Zones with a great swim in the 10&U girls 200 Free placing 9th and dropping 2.13 seconds going 2:35.52. Brooke Lindsey swam an incredible 400 free dropping 4.72 seconds finishing 13th with a 4:58.32

Day two at the Central Zone meet was a great day. Team Michigan is in first place with 2604 points. Claire Gostlin placed 2nd in the 13-14 400 IM with her best time 5:07.32, and 14th the 100 Fly. Nora Gorski placed 12th in the 10&U 100 Back dropping 2.17 seconds. And 12yr Old Brooke Lyndsey scores in the 200 Free.
