The 2026 CLE season is now open! The first session of Kiwanis Club Leadership Education took place today in Scottsburg at the Scott County Partnership. Thank you to the participants from the Columbus Golden K, Ferdinand, North Vernon, Scott County, and Westport clubs for your willingness and excitement. Today's instructors were Kris Bowers and Tim Mohon (special thank you to Kris, our district Leadership Development Coordinator for her management, leadership, and dedication!). Also, thanks go to Heather Law of the Scott County Partnership for making the facilities available, Al Riggle for bringing in the Lon's Donuts, and Sarah Edrington for the Warrior's Den coffee. It is a great day to be a Kiwanian!

Thank you to everyone who came out last night for our Third Quarter Divisional Council Meeting, hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Jefferson County, Indiana! We were blessed with 41 in attendance and seven of our clubs were represented--Batesville Kiwanis, Kiwanis Club of Clarksville, Kiwanis Club of Jefferson County, Indiana, Kiwanis Club of Lawrenceburg, IN, Saint Paul Kiwanis, Scott County Kiwanis, and Kiwanis Club of Westport. We enjoyed Mel Sexton's update on the Riley Hospital for Children and Governor Sue Prifogle sharing about the excitement of the Indiana District of Kiwanis. We also welcomed Sharanjit Kaur, the Key Club Scenic Farms Division VDL, who joined us for the evening. Thank you again for Jefferson County club for hosting us and for the delicious meal, and to everyone who came out!

We had a great time joining with the Saint Paul Kiwanis as they celebrated their students and presented awards this evening. Congratulations to Breanna Barton (Waldron High School) and Eddie Hungate (North Decatur Jr-Sr High School) on receiving scholarships to continue their academic journeys.

While visiting the Kiwanis Club of Clarksville, TN on Tuesday, LTG Tim Mohon was invited to attend the Kiwanis Club of Hilldale, Clarksville social meeting today. Thank you to C. David Elliott for the invite and it was a pleasure to meet the Hilldale club and learn of the great ways they are making a difference with the youth and children of Clarksville, Tennessee! AND he got to meet his granddaughter's Clarksville High School Key Club advisor, Pattie McMillan!
