We appreciate those of you who joined us in our impromptu Livestream meeting last night after our delicious covered dish dinner! We enjoyed every bite of food prepared by our Grandparents - don't forget to share your favorite recipes for the HGCS 50th Anniversary cookbook to be published this summer! Looking ahead: We are seeking more GRANDparents to join us for the 2026-27 school year. BRING YOUR IDEAS for fellowship, creativity, and everything else! We will try to FB Livestream more meetings, starting with our first 'Meet & Greet' meeting on August 18th. Mark your calendars to join us!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Too often within Christian circles, mental health struggles are treated as taboo, yet they are a very real reality for many followers of Christ.

Even heroes of the faith struggled. David, “a man after God’s own heart,” wrote, “Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me?” (Psalm 42:5)

Praise God that we have a Savior who understands our struggles (Hebrews 4:15) and a loving Father who offers the peace that only He can give.

If you are struggling, please know you are not alone. There are people who love you, care about you, and are ready to encourage you, pray with you, and walk alongside you.
