Short day, big happiness! 🧡🐾

We were open for just two hours today—from 1 to 3—and SIX pets found their families!

Happy tails to Lykiri, Melissa, Maleficent, Mississippi, Mocha, and Dipstick! 🎉🏡

Thank you to our adopters for opening your hearts and homes, and to our staff and volunteers for helping make these happy beginnings possible. Six more reasons to smile! 🧡

DDE with Spitfire today. This sweet boy enjoyed some off leash backyard time. He did join the Can’t Leave the Tortoise Alone Club, so we opted for a longer neighborhood walk. He’s a good walker and stopped to relax in my neighbor’s sprinklers. After the walk, he wasn’t so interested in digging out the tortoise anymore and snuggled up for pets and head scratches . Spitfire has been at WAGS since January. He is a blue-eye Red Husky with freckles on his nose. He is an approx 5 year old boy who has plenty of energy to walk and play and lots of love to give.

HELLO INTERNET! Sawyer checking in!
It is not easy being a baby Belgian Malinois. Today my friends the cleaners came. I made sure they were doing a good job by following them around. I even hopped my upstairs barricade to inspect and found my friends the cats and their food. YUM. I could care less about the cats. While I have not made friends with the vacuum I was okay with the steam mop. I used up my energy and decided to take a nap near my humans. Later I’ll get a nice long walk to burn of my energy after I recharge.

I now successfully wait to be released for my food, my foster Mom gets very excited. I crate semi nicely, at night no issues but let it be known I don’t like to go in there if my foster family has to leave. I am 100% crate trained and haven’t had any accidents outside my kennel in a very long time. I don’t care about other dogs while out and about but when I’m out I don’t like to lounge around the outdoor restaurants-I want to keep moving. I need a family who is familiar with my breed and has the time, energy, and patience to get me trained so I can be the goodest boy ever. No kids under 12 please, I’m a little mouthy still.
