We're raising scholarship funds to help create educational opportunities for young African American men.

At the same time, we're celebrating what would have been Tray's 30th birthday—honoring a young man who was already making a difference through mentorship, education, and community service.

💚💙 A Fundraiser. A Birthday Celebration. A Legacy That Lives On! 🎉

We're coming together to raise scholarship funds for young African American men while celebrating what would have been Trayvon "Tray's" 30th birthday!

Before there was A Gift From Tray, there was Tray—a young man who believed in mentorship, education, community, and giving back. Our organization continues what he started.

This year's 2026 Sneaker Ball Scholarship Fundraiser brings both purposes together, and we're inviting our family, friends, and community to celebrate with us!

Never participated in an online silent auction?

Here’s the important part: you don’t need to be standing in a ballroom to take part.

Beginning November 14, supporters will be able to visit our online silent auction, browse available opportunities and place bids from their device.

That means you can participate whether you’re attending the Sneaker Ball or supporting A Gift From Tray from somewhere else.

The auction runs:

November 14 at 12:00 a.m. through December 5 at 9 p.m.

The A Gift From Tray Online Silent Auction opens November 14 at 12:00 a.m.

The auction will give supporters another way to engage with the Scholarship Fundraiser Sneaker Ball and support the work of A Gift From Tray.
