Develope' Dance Project

DDP works solely with The Dance Academy of Westland and its students.

DDP is a nonprofit that exists to support talented young dancers that demonstrate dance potential and strive for excellence not only as dancers, but as kind human beings with scholarships to help cover dance costs. Families must demonstrate financial hardship to be considered for the program and apply for scholarships with all the requested information. The DDP board of directors must approve all

applications and verify with The Dance Academy that the students not only meet the financial requirements but also uphold a solid commitment to dance along with a desire to be an active TDA community member. Recipients must also be an excellent representative of TDA studio values to be considered for DDP scholarships.

Brambles Bakes generously provided pastries for our bake sale earlier this spring! Their donation helped us raise funds that went directly into our scholarship program.

We are proud to spotlight Homestead Kitchen for their generous support of Developé Dance Project.

Homestead Kitchen graciously provided deserts for our most recent bake sale. Their generosity helped us raise $200 for scholarship funds!

Community collaboration is a core part of our mission here at DDP. Our board strives to build partnerships that extend programming into community spaces.

Through partnerships with organizations like The Rotary Club of Westland, we are able to create access to dance beyond the traditional studio setting.
