Owasippe Staff Association Welcome to the OFFICIAL OSA page. The OSA is a non-profit staff alumni organization established in 1978.

We are comprised of past and present staff and friends of the Owasippe Scout Reservation, America's oldest Boy Scout camp in continuous operation. The OSA is a non-profit staff alumni organization that was established in 1978. We do not own or operate Owasippe, but we do help support it. We raise funds and provide volunteer labor for major service projects at Owasippe. Our goal is the continued im

provement of the camping experience of Owasippe's Scouts and families. We also host numerous social events for our members to maintain and strengthen the bonds of friendship formed at Owasippe.

During the summer of 2025 the Reneker staff built a sweet little garden that included herbs and veggies. However, very few weeks of campers were able enjoy the “fruits” of their labor because most of the planting happened during staff week (in addition to a mid summer refresh by Thom Sullivan). In order to give the Reneker staff a head start, the OSA donated funds to lay out new soil and provide plant starts prior to camp beginning. Here’s to hoping the adult group makes a mean salsa!
