Christmas in Leimert Park! Was a true celebration and fellowship of community.

Over 1500 families served

Thanks to & for collaborating such an amazing event.

Lunch, fresh, groceries, childcare supplies, socks, toys, face, painting, community resources, and so much more…… all complimentary…. No charge ❤️❤️💙💙💜💜🖤🖤💛💛💛💛

Women’s Shelter Visit

We had an amazing time visiting with a local Woman’s Shelter in Long Beach. The Butterfly Effect 🦋 in collaboration with , and from (WOA), were able to set up a pseudo shopping store for ladies that have been adversely effected.

The donations included clothing from casual to business, socks, lingerie, sweaters, jackets, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, handbags and shoes. Donations were gently used items sourced from generous donors from the community, as well as brand new shoes donated by

This was an opportunity for the ladies to come and shop with no cost to them and choose outfits of their liking complete with, shoes and accessories.

Many of the women housed here are here with their young children. For them, we were able to provide coloring books, crayons, toys and a slew of stuffed animals. The children were so happy to be able to choose their own personal Items to call their very own.

In addition we were able to offer nail polishing for the ladies as well as offered anyone interested a fresh haircut and style.

This was a warm day filled with love, gratitude and the act of service. I am honored to have had the opportunity to spend such an intimate time with these beautiful women. Thank you for allowing us into your personal space. 🙏🥰🦋💜

Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, water. All things we have available to us every day and take for granted.

Living on the streets, individuals may not have access to these items for days, weeks, even months.

Help us give a sense of dignity by providing these every day essentials.

Community helping Community

We’re back at it again feeding families on Friday!

Many hands make light work.

The Butterfly 🦋 Effect is so honored to be able to collaborate with such amazing teams, organizations and volunteers.

Thank you to the staff at Highland Elementary, and Tiffany with Association, with Torch LA, for helping us provide quality groceries to over 600 families weekly, during such a trying time.

Special shout-out to for always helping us pickup large local food donations. You are a gem 💎!
