Clowning for Kidz Foundation The Clowning For Kidz Foundation, Inc., a local 501(c) (3) non-profit charity, formed in 2008 to help children-in-need under the age of 16.

A New England based non-profit, the Clowning for Kidz Foundation is an all-volunteer, interactive clown unit, established in 2008 to provide aid to children-in-need under the age of sixteen, through the art of clowning. Founder Jim Allard, also known as, Nit-Wit the Clown, says “It’s all about the kids. There are no boundaries and no borders to the help we will provide to a child in need. We can h

elp children anywhere around the world, however, much of our assistance is in local communities." The non-political Clowning For Kidz Foundation delivers aid locally and internationally. The all-volunteer Clowning For Kidz clowns range from ages 5 to 90 and perform at events and parades across New England. Each clown personality is friendly. All of the clowns give their time and talent and enjoy helping children. These are photos from the floor directly below the Clowning For Kidz Foundation office. Unfortunately smoke and water damage completely devastated our classroom, office, and costume storage area. The fire occurred on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. We are seeking donations to help recover.

The parade was great fun for all.

The balloon was inflated inside the Wellesley Municipal Light Plant (WMLP) garage (pictured here.)

The balloon was then carried outside by members of the Wellesley Boys Lacrosse Team. Unfortunately, as the parade units lined up, gusty winds pushed the balloon into a pointed area on the top of the Aleppo Clown Car causing it to pop.
