Registration begins at 7:15 am, with a Shotgun Start at 8:00 am. Registration and sponsorships are now available for this tournament. Two $1,000.00 scholarships were awarded this past year from the proceeds of this event to two local high school seniors, as well as fund many other area youth activities. S.O.N.G. in partnership with Kids4Action in Rhode Island collected over 1100 Letters to exchange with children in Ukraine! Kids4Action would like to express their gratitude to the Portsmouth, RI Schools (Howard Hathaway, Melville Elementary, Portsmouth Middle School, St. Phil’s, and Portsmouth High School) for their participation in the Kids4Action Kind-it-Note Campaign.
1,139 handwritten letters and and additional 63 pictures were collected! These will be distributed into the hands of Ukrainian Youth via our partner organization S.O.N.G. (Supporting Orphans Nationally and Globally) starting this Monday, October 2nd across Ukraine! When you talk about the Positive Ripple Effect - this is it!
