The ROMANIAN COMMUNITY CENTER (RCC) is a non-profit organization established with the primary objective of providing cultural, educational, and charitable support to individuals affiliated with the Romanian culture and community. This Organization, firmly committed to a non-political and non-religious stance, operates with the overarching goal of promoting the rich heritage of Romanian culture, while aligning with the values inherent to American society and culture. It is important to emphasize that the RCC extends its welcoming embrace to all individuals who identify with the Romanian culture and its traditions and abides by the Organization’s Bylaws.

What an incredible evening of kindness, generosity, and unity!
The Romanian Community Center extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us on October 10 for Together for Maria and helped make this fundraiser such a wonderful success!

A very special and heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated online! Even though you couldn't all be with us in person, your generosity and compassion were very much a part of this beautiful effort. Whether you supported Maria in person or from afar, every contribution made a difference, and we are deeply grateful for your kindness!
It was truly inspiring to see so many people come together for one meaningful cause. Beyond the generosity, this evening reminded us of something even more special: the strength and beauty of our Romanian community when we come together as one family, united by compassion, regardless of our different backgrounds or affiliations.

This is the spirit of community we cherish and strive to build at RCC — a place where everyone belongs, where friendships grow, and where we stand together to support those in need.

A wonderful day of Romanian spirit and community! 🇷🇴❤️
A dedicated Romanian Community Center crew, proudly represented our organization and worked our booth at the “Glasul Maramureșului – La Poiana Românească” Festival in New Jersey.
It was a beautiful celebration of Romanian culture, with great music, traditional dancing, delicious Romanian food, and a warm community atmosphere.
We were happy to support our friends in the Romanian community of New Jersey and to be part of such a joyful celebration of our traditions and heritage. 🇷🇴🤝 🇺🇸

At just 21, Maria Goldheart is facing a liver transplant and surgery for a rare lung cancer.
On October 10, our community is coming together to help Maria and her family through what lies ahead

Maria is a talented young artist who dreamed of attending college and becoming an art teacher. After years of battling ulcerative colitis, serious complications affected her liver and placed her on the transplant list. During further testing, doctors also discovered a rare malignant tumor in her lung.
Today, Maria's life revolves around specialists, treatments, testing, and frequent trips to Philadelphia for medical care.

Donations of any amount are appreciated and will help with the financial burden of her ongoing medical care.

One week later, the music may have faded into the background, but the memories are still dancing with us. 🇷🇴❤️
We can still almost hear the music, feel the rhythm, and smell the aromas of mici, sarmale, cozonac, and all the flavors that make a Romanian festival feel like home.
Our 4th Romanian Festival is already on the calendar for August 21–22, 2027. 🇷🇴
Until then, we keep the music, the flavors, and the memories close to our hearts. 💙💛❤️

O săptămână mai târziu, poate că muzica s-a estompat în fundal, dar amintirile încă dansează alături de noi. 🇷🇴❤️
Parcă încă mai auzim melodiile, simțim ritmul și mirosim aromele de mici, sarmale, cozonac și toate acele gusturi care fac ca un festival românesc să ne aducă puțin mai aproape de casă.
Cea de-a 4-a ediție a Festivalului Românesc este deja în calendar pentru 21 și 22 August, 2027. 🇷🇴
Până atunci, păstrăm aproape de inimă muzica, aromele și toate aceste frumoase amintiri. 💙💛❤️

🇷🇴❤️🇺🇸 It is always such a joy to see our community come together — surrounded by family and friends, wonderful food, music, traditional dancing, beautiful costumes, fun activities for all and the unmistakable feeling of being a little closer to home.
Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, performed, cooked, organized, and helped create such a beautiful celebration.
We already look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for the 4th Romanian Festival in Reading, in August 2027! ❤️🇷🇴🇺🇸

❤️🇷🇴🇺🇸 We had a wonderful time this past weekend in Reading, Pennsylvania, celebrating and sharing our Romanian cultural heritage with our local community and friends from neighboring states!
This special celebration would not have been possible without the continued support of the many Romanian officials, Pennsylvania leaders, local representatives, community partners, volunteers, and friends who joined us and helped make the 3rd Romanian Festival such a memorable event.

We are especially honored and grateful to have celebrated alongside:

What an amazing 3rd Romanian Festival in Reading! 🇷🇴❤️

It is wonderful to see social media flooded with so many beautiful pictures, videos, and comments from people who had such a great time. The food, the music, the dancers, the beautiful traditional costumes, and most of all the incredible atmosphere made this weekend truly special. We will keep sharing images with all of you.

Thank you to everyone who came out, celebrated with us, shared the experience, and helped make this year’s festival such a memorable one.
And a very special thank you to all of our RCC volunteers, to all performers, dancers, musicians, vendors, sponsors, and everyone who worked behind the scenes. This festival would not be possible without the tremendous dedication, time, and heart that so many people give to our community.
