Hey all, just want to go over some summer items for Calhoun Park!
Please remember that Calhoun Park is a recreational park for kids to come and play. West Homestead provides Councilors/Adults to plan activities and to keep the peace. This camp is meant to be a fun, structured experience where kids are expected to engage and be self-sufficient.

*Please make sure you send a water bottle and lunches/snacks. Even on days that we provide food, it would be beneficial to provide your child snacks. Also, we are asking to let your child know to not share food and to refrain from asking staff and other children for food and MONEY. Due to some dietary and allergy restrictions, we do not want to see anyone get sick.

* Field Trip sign-ups start Monday mornings and end Wednesday's at 2pm, please remember these are cash only. We are first come first serve, and if the child is unable to attend please let us know so that we can add a new child. There is limited space on the bus so if we have space for someone, we want to make sure they have that opportunity to attend the trip rather than an empty seat. If your child is younger or could have some issues with being away from their adult we ask that maybe you could attend the trip with us, even if you drive yourself.

Wow! Just like that, 1st week is done.
But look what is in store for next week.. Wear your Pj's ALL DAY! Tattoo Tuesday (now I can finally get that tat I always wanted!), ohhh Looks like Evan is cooking on Wednesday 😆, Ugh gotta cheer for Robert and all those gutterballs but I do see ICE CREAM 🥳 and to finish it off Kick ball⚽

Don't forget tomorrow is MOVIE DAY! Where we get to see how much popcorn Evan can fit in his mouth at once!!
The movie will be Smurfs, Please arrive by 10:30 am and the cost will be $18 for a kid pack and that includes a ticket and Snacks! Everyone should be ready to pick up around 12:45 pm at AMC Waterfront! Please remember a grown-up must drop the child off and pick them up at the movie theater transportation is not provided.

Today was the Calhoun Summer Olympics. Where the kids got together as a team and battled through obstacle courses, 50-yard dashes, basketball and rolling each other up in toilet paper. It was a blast but here's some of our favorite highlights!!
