ANEW Community Institute

ANEW Community Institute ANEW Community Institute is a membership organization that provides community education and services Welcome To ANEW Community Institute!

ANEW Community Institute is a community member led center offering many different programs that meet the needs of the community, as defined by our leadership. Our members build County Leadership Collectives and form Focus Groups based on the issues they choose to impact. Standupconcerts.org is a product of our music and art focus group, ANEW Collective of Musicians and Artists and produces concert

fundraisers to support our programs, put local musicians and artists to work, while providing benefits and services to local musicians and performers. ANEW Community Services is a product of our community needs focus group, and provides hands on help to community members like landlord-tenant mediation, help with applications, document review, negotiation with utilities, bill collectors, mortgage lenders, and tax collectors. ANEW Community Institute is a product of our community education focus group, and develops trainings, classes, and programming to provide adult and teen education to our community. ANEW Community Institute also provides opportunities to learn skills in organized classes in many subjects, including hands on experience that can result in a Certificate of Completion that could help you land a decent job. We will also help each other with job searches. ANEW Sisters came together to provide support and help to women facing domestic abuse and economic discrimination. They are meeting now to begin serving the community with a program that can help document the abuse and keep records for later use, create a network of safe houses, and develop a savings program for emergency funds.
