Today, our temple received the amazing blessing of welcomimg home a new Shaligram.

In the midst of daily worship, prayers, and offerings to Lord Narasimha, a rare Kurma Shaligram bearing eight divine chakras was lovingly donated to us by bhaktas.

By the grace of the Lord and the generosity of His devotees, He now joins the family of more than 3,000 Shaligrams who reside within these temple walls.

Ancient, mysterious, and self-manifest in His Kurma form, the Lord reminds us that beneath every difficulty, there is a silent strength that upholds creation and a steady presence beneath the endless waves of change. He is that support beneath the very foundation of our spiritual path.

May all who pray to Him receive the blessings of steadiness in devotion, strength in service, and deeper remembrance of the Lord who mercifully enters our lives again and again.

With gratitude and love, we welcome Sri Kurma Shaligram to the Paranitya Narasimha Temple. πŸ–€

Even though Guruji was in Shree Peetha Nilaya, our hearts were celebrating with Him here in Elmira. ❀️

For our Gurudev, Paramahamsa Vishwananda's birthday, our ashram family gathered in the backyard for a picnic filled with prasad, stories, kirtan, laughter, gratitude, and love.

Guruji wrote, β€œThe birthday of the SatGuru is the birthday of all bhaktas.” This day felt like a reminder that His presence gives birth to something new in all of us: more love, more surrender, more longing for God, and more joy in serving together.

It was beautiful to see families, friends, devotees, and spiritual family all come together β€” each person bringing something to the table, and each heart offering something back to Him.

A birthday is usually the celebration of one life. But the SatGuru’s birthday is different. It is the celebration of the One who awakens true life within us β€” the life of the soul, the life of Love, and the life that leads us back to the Feet of God.

Happy Birthday, dearest Guruji! β€οΈπŸ™

Take a moment to absorb the quiet serenity and love of the deities at the Paranitya Narasimha Temple.

🀍

"When time feels like it has slowed down and you feel every moment passing by. When love makes your heart ache but you know you just want to love more. When you want to serve more, give more, and be there to offer support in every way.

You should turn to God in your heart and pray even more strongly in this time. Allow Him to connect all hearts. Allow His grace to carry the pain away and bring in solace.

Allow His mercy to light a lamp of love in every heart.

Pray for everyone. Pray for those you love. Pray for the departed soul. Pray for all in God’s kingdom. Pray for everyone.

May all turn to prayer more and more strongly, and make Vitthala’s heart their eternal home."

-Paramahamsa Vishwananda

"Why is the Divine Mother so revered?

Whether embodied as Mata Gayatri, Saraswati, MahaLakshmi, Durga, or Parvati. She is the same one who simply immerses Herself in Bhakti. Never-ending, unbroken, selfless Bhakti to the Lotus Feet of Bhagavan.

Her deep and abiding love devoid of any taint is the Divine Mother's great gift to the world. Each of us are a part of Her cosmic love for Bhagavan. Learning to love Him the way She does. She is the One born from His heart and in that the entire Creation has taken shape. To bear witness to the eternal relationship between the atma and Paramatma.

β€œOm Bhur Bhuvah Swaha Tat Savitur Varenyam, Bhargo Devasya Dhimahi Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat.”

May all always be blessed. Much love. "

God is not far away.

Sometimes we think grace is only for saints, monks, or people who have β€œfigured it out.”

Moments from today's abishekam to 3000+ Shaligrams at the Paranitya Narasimha Temple. A small glimpse into the sacred atmosphere and divine space.

Today we observe Parama Ekadashi, which arrives only during Purushottam Maas, and carries the memory of God's boundless grace. It is a reminder that when one approches the Lord with full devotion, every test will be purified and what has been taken will always be returned.

May this Ekadashi draw us beyond the body, beyond the mind, beyond every fleeting identityβ€”into remembrance, surrender, and love.

"Observe Parama Ekadashi with joy and read the story of Harishchandra on this day with remembrance of Bhagavan Sri Hari. It can lead one to the state of surrender that Harishchandra attained, freeing one from any identification with the body, mind, and senses. Forever at the lotus feet of Bhagavan.

Trayodashi is the crown jewel of adhik maas this year. The 13th day.

There are so many divine facets to this day that it is impossible to describe. The highest combination of shiva and narayana; it is Shivratri in Purushottam Maas. The Purusha and His greatest bhaktas are all active during this time. May these days bring you closer and closer to the lotus feet of the SatGuru."

-Paramahamsa Vishwananda

"As long as this earth exists, Bhagavan will continue to come here. He will never leave anyone alone or behind. He is eternally with everyone. Always in the mudra of Darshan.

It doesn’t matter how hidden or how undermined life may make love feel, a truly surrendered person is never hidden from Sri Hari’s eyes.

Bhagavan Narasimha came to show all that He is everywhere. He sees the hearts of all. He sees how much one has turned towards Him. And He responds in the perfect way for each atma."

-Paramahamsa Vishwananda
