We spent most of the day at Rustic Ridge Farm . Even with the weather not being so great it was still a fun day. Good food, music, craft vendors, & fun games for kids. We had a lot of visitors walk down to the arena to see the cyldesdales and 2 other beautiful horses , Miss Kitty & Lena. Lots of questions asked about the horses and what we do as a rescue. Attending events like this help us to spread the word about the slaughter pipeline and how we try to prevent horses from going there. We are always happy to go to the farm.

Dentist day with dentist Rougeux. Chance had his first ever dental check up and he was such a good boy.💜 Who I thought would have been difficult, as he is our "flight" boy, he wasn't. And who was very uncooperative that I didn't expect, was Dyna!! She was doing circles, pulling away and at one point I thought she was going to sit right in the water trough. Then she was trying to backup while Bob was working in her mouth and with the speculum in her mouth she squeezed her cheeks so tight he had to wrestle with getting his tools in her mouth!!
Bob said, "at least she didn't drag us across the field ". 😯
However, all who know Dyna, said they were not surprised by her actions. She is very stubborn and the queen👑 of the ranch. But, I never expected that bad of an attitude from her. Lol
Archimedes, Chloie & Gypsy were all pleasant patients.
