West Chicago Public Library District - Don't forget, this Wednesday is a special presentation from Dr. Annette Bochenek of the "Hometowns to Hollywood" blog and many other publications, universities, and outlets! Depictions of q***r individuals have occurred in films dating back to the earliest days of the filmmaking industry. Join us to learn about this representation and the impact of the Production Code on their depictions in classic cinema. This program will include a multimedia presentation consisting of photos, video clips, and captivating stories. The program starts at 7 pm. Please register using the URL below.
