WE’RE PRAYING FOR THE NEXT SUMMIT.

We believe God is inviting us to lay a fresh foundation of intercessory prayer for what He wants to do next at 938.

As we walk through staff transitions and prepare for the next season, we’re asking God to break through and lead us forward.

Join us tonight from 7-8 pm for All Church Prayer!

We've been spending the past few weeks in Groundwork at Re:generation.

And maybe you're wondering:
What happens next?

Groundwork is a six-week opportunity to come, listen, learn, meet others, and experience what Re:generation is all about. There's no pressure to commit—you can come and go throughout these first six weeks as you explore whether this community is right for you.

But Groundwork does eventually come to an end on October 20

After a one-week, Steps begin November 3.
The Steps are the next part of the Re:generation journey, providing a biblical framework for walking through recovery and discipleship alongside a community pursuing freedom in Christ.

If you'd like to be considered for participating in the Steps, you'll need to attend Groundwork by October 20.

So if you've been thinking about coming, there's still time. You don't need to have everything figured out, and you don't need to know exactly where this journey will lead.
Just come and see.
Groundwork continues Tuesday nights through October 20.
We'd love to meet you there.

We are excited to celebrate with you that Leah Dixon will begin on October 1st, serving as our Director of Engagement. Leah, along with her husband Ryan and children, has been worshipping with 938 Church since before the Pandemic. She has served in a variety of volunteer roles and brings a strong professional resume from church and nonprofit organizations.

If you know Leah, and many of us do, you are excited because of her heart for God and her heart for people. As Director of Engagement, she will take point on building the systems that connect people into the life of our church and strengthening our leadership pipeline through coaching, recruiting, and identifying leadership and new ministry opportunities. This is a part-time role that we expect to grow with the life of our church.

As a church, we have been praying all summer that God would raise up workers and a new wave of leadership to take 938 Church into our next phase. Please celebrate with us and continue praying as we work to hire an office manager and 938 Kid's Director. We have strong candidates emerging for each of these roles. Pray that all hear a clear sense of calling for the next steps.

What keeps a tree green through every season? Not the weather -- the roots. Jeremiah described the blessed man as a tree whose roots reach the water, whose leaves are always green, bearing fruit no matter the conditions. That is God's vision for your life.

In our new series Evergreen, we are exploring the foundations of gospel spirituality -- not just what the gospel is, but how to actually use it. Like the tax collector in Luke 18:9-14, our admission is our admission. Grace can only begin where self-sufficiency ends.

You were not made to carry it all alone. Join us as we walk through how the gospel, when truly activated in our lives, produces a peace and a fruitfulness that no season of life can take away.
