Today, on National Volunteer Firefighters Recognition Day, we want to say THANK YOU to our local fire department and all of our neighboring departments. ❤️🚒

Thank you for the countless hours you give, the sacrifices you make, and for always being there when our community needs you most. You leave your families, your homes, and your own lives to help others—and that does not go unnoticed.

As America celebrates 250 years of freedom and independence, we pause to honor the brave men and women who have served—and those who continue to serve—in our nation’s armed forces. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication have protected the freedoms we cherish every day. To our veterans, active-duty military, National Guard, and Reserve members, thank you for your selfless service.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Town of West Blocton for hosting another outstanding Fourth of July celebration last night. Thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes to make it a safe, enjoyable, and memorable event for our community. We are proud to serve alongside a town that values patriotism, fellowship, and community spirit.
